| Starting out at Water Plant |
It ended up taking us about 3 hours to go from just above Camp Carr to the old Lipton plant in Flemington. Overall a it was a nice peaceful trip. Jill handled the kayak well.
It was great to get away out on the water with her for few days. The little Emotion Kayaks are perfect for this trip as the have a very shallow draft...although not always shallow enough for the river on this trip. The USGS water gage was at 2.72 at Stanton Station which previously would have been deep enough, but was not on this trip. I would say 2.9 would be minimum level.
